The aim of poker is to win money from other poker players by taking a gamble on the cards that have been dealt to you.

All Players are dealt a hand of cards, some of which will be visible, some (or all) will be hidden.

888 Poker

The most important information is the RANKING of the hands. This is detailed below, strongest is at the top.
Royal Flush:
Ten, Jack, Queen, King, Ace : the same suit.

Straight Flush: or Running Flush
Straight with all five cards in the same suit. (eg all clubs in sequence)

Four of a Kind:
Four cards of the same number or face value ("also known as quads").

Full House:
3 cards of one number or face value and two cards of another number or face value. If 2 or more players have a full house, the hand with the highest ranking three of a kind ( or "trips") wins.
