How To Play BlackJack
Online Blackjack is easy to learn and easier to play. This guide will
tell you how to play if you are a complete blackjack novice and have
never played before. If you are more of an expert, you might learn a
few tips and tricks as well.
1. First off, download the software from any of the recommended sites
in OnlineCasino.me.uk . We have double checked the software
to
ensure that it adheres to best practice on safety. If you are worried
you can always try the no download flash games at Monaco Gold Casino but
it may be slower to play.
2. Always start off by playing for free, so that you can get a handle
on how you navigate through the online casino site. This may seem an
obvious statement, but you would be suprised at how many people click
the wrong button. Practice first.
The aim is to beat the dealer's hand by either a) having a total that
is greater than the dealer's total or 2) by staying under 21 when the
dealer goes over and goes "bust".
All cards add as face value in onlineblackjack. Jacks, Kings and
Queens are 10 and aces caneither be 1 or 11. Don´t worry
about the
suits
(hearts, clubs etc). If you have an ace, assume the value is 11 unless
your total is over 21, in which case it becomes a value of 1. A hand
that contains an ace is called a "soft
hand"
Before the cards are dealt, you must make a bet by putting chips on the
table. In inline blackjack, this generally means that you click on a
chip and click again on the table. You will receive two cards and the
dealer will receive 2 cards, one of which is dealt face up so thatyou
can see its value. You will obviously be able to see the value of both
of your cards.
Now you must look at the cards and decide to either:
1. Hit. The dealer will give you another card.
2. Stand. You stick with your hand.
3. Split. If you have two cards the same, you can split. If you click
on the Split option, yuo will make an additional bet equal to your
first and then you will play each card as a seperate hand. This is a
useful way of spreading you r risk- but beware- if you have 2 bad
hands, you may lose twice as much. On the other hand, you could also
double your winnings.
4. Insurance. When the dealer's visible card is an ace, you can take
out insurance. Just click on the insurance logo. This is a side bet that
the dealer will get a Blackjack, ie an ace and a 10 vale card. You can
make a bet equal to one half of your first bet. A winning insurance bet
pays off at odds of 2 to 1.
5.Dealer stands at 17. The dealer in blackjack must stand or stick
when his cards equal 17 or over. He must draw a card if his total is
less.
6. Winning and Losing: If your hand exceeds 21you go bust, so
don´t go
over 21! A good strategy is to stick at 16 and over. If yourhand is
greater than the total of the dealer's, you win and double your money.
Remember
it's you
against the dealer. Watch the dealer´s visible card and your
hand. Good
luck and try the recommended black jack rooms below! Click on the
